MONTHLY NOTES / JUNE '17

Friday, 30 June 2017

Welcome to my Monthly Notes Series. A Series in which I tell you all about what I've been Inspired By and Working on Recently, As well as a few things I've been loving this Month.

INSPIRED BY
This month I've been really inspired by Poetry. As an avid reader I love literature in all it's forms but some of my favorites are poetry. I love how raw the words can be, especially poems by Sylvia Path - My Favorite poem by her is Lady Lazarus. I've also been loving Balloon Poetry by OhHappyDay - Balloon Poetry 05 being a favorite!

WORKING ON
Paintings - They're in the works. I'm trying hard to create a few pieces to debut myself back onto the art scene after neglecting it for a few months after being very uninspired. I'm really excited to be trying out something new.
I'm also working on designing a new website and store for my artworks, which is a long process right now.

READING
Ariel By Sylvia Path
Kafka on the Shore By Haruki Murakami

Finished:
Uzumaki By Junji Ito

If you'd like to see my thoughts and progress on the books mentioned or others, you can check out my GoodReads HERE.

THINKING ABOUT
Vacation! - In the middle of July, I'll be traveling from the south to the north east coast. I'm extremely excited for our vacation. We have a sea view penthouse for a whole week and i can't wait for a well-deserved breakaway.

LOVING RIGHT NOW
Podcasts - I've never been a big fan of podcasts due to the fact some of them can be hours long and I don't have the time or patience to sit down and listen to them. Recently, That's changed. I love putting on a podcast as background noise to keep me entertained while I'm working.

Goodbye June, Hello July.
